First Draft
Continuing on from 'Artist Books', First Draft is an intensive workshop where we will work together to put together a first draft or 'digital dummy' of your project. This will significantly advance your process and will be the ideal stage from which to further develop your project. You will receive all working files (InDesign) as part of the workshop as well as short-run production tips.
Participants: Ideal for both emerging and more advanced artists who have already considered the editing and ordering of their images and who wish to get something tangible produced. Participants are asked to bring all the images of their work with them as well as any text on a thumb drive.
Age: 18+
Duration: 2 × 3 hours of tutorage and a break for lunch (Intensive Only)

Facilitator: Christopher Young is a practicing artist who exhibits on a regular basis. He has self-published a number of books and designed books for other artists. He has worked in the graphic design industry for over 25 years to support his practice. Further to servicing his own clients, he has freelanced for prestigious design agencies in Germany and Australia.
